Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British music producer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where he created his own musical band with 3 classmates. The band he called White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive performance. Even though he had always expressed an interest in the music world but despite his enthusiasm for it he wanted also to become a lawyer and physiotherapist. When he worked at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010, and was a part of Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. The reason for this was that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who recommended Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The band of five was backed by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the most competitive groups in the competition. The group was however placed third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Even though Harry Styles and his group were not crowned winners, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with the Syco record label.
