Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actress from America. Her fame grew from late 1970s until the mid-80s, when she was featured in several television programs, which usually reflected a glamorous look. Fairchild started her career on the CBS morning soap Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. She made her debut in the soap opera of the same name Dallas in the role of being the very first actor in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a lead role in the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). She appeared on ABC's brief premiertime soap Paper Dolls as well as on the NBC soap opera Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star in Comedy Series. She sits as a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA.
